Some merchants have unique, rare, or special items. This option allows them to lovingly create a listing with as much detail as their hearts allow. One of our merchants, Mighty Fine Guitars only sell handmade or rare, vintage Martin acoustic guitars. This was an important feature for them a long with our other boutique merchants.
This is a quick way for merchants to add offerings without all the fuss. Typical for commodities and other everyday items.
I followed the same design flow for settings to make the entire platform feel cohesive and familiar. Our merchants are of an older demographic, and we didn't want to burden them with navigating and learning a different design system.
